Abstract

A geohydrological survey using the resistivity geoelectric method has been conducted in the Mantobua Village area, Loghia District, Muna Regency. This research aims to: (1) Determine the resistivity value of the subsurface layers, and (2) Determine the potential presence of groundwater based on the resistivity value of the subsurface layers. Data collection was carried out using 6 measurement lines with the Wenner-Schlumberger electrode configuration. The resistivity values of the subsurface layers in the research area range from 6.31 to 1757 Ωm. The potential presence of groundwater based on the resistivity values of the subsurface layers is as follows: Line 1 is below the surface at a depth of 9.26 m to 52.4 m with a resistivity range of 23.9 Ωm; Line 2 is at a depth of 6.59 m to 59.9 m with a resistivity of 13.2 – 26.5 Ωm; Line 4 is at a depth of 1.25 m to 59.9 m with a resistivity of 26.6 Ωm; Line 5 is at a depth of 1.25 m to 59.9 m with a resistivity of 16.3 – 32.6 Ωm; and Line 6 is at a depth of 9.26 m to 19.8 m with a resistivity of 60.4 Ωm.
