Abstract

Accurate estimation of limestone reserves is a crucial step in planning sustainable and efficient mining. This study aims to estimate the potential limestone reserves in Block A, the mining area of PT Graha Batu Perdana, Bungku Pesisir Subdistrict, Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, based on resistivity data using the Wenner-Schlumberger configuration. The survey was conducted on four transects, each 310 meters long. Pseudoresistivity data inversion was performed using Res2inv, which was then processed into a 3D resistivity model using Voxler software. The 3D model was used to identify the distribution and unit volume of limestone based on the distribution correlated with rock outcrops. The modeling results showed that the total volume of limestone in Block A reached 3,222,099.255 m³, with an area of 89,979 m². Based on the assumption of a limestone density of 2.5 tons/m³, the estimated reserve potential was 8,055,248.125 tons. The highest potential distribution is concentrated in the northern and eastern parts of the study area, which is suspected to be correlated with more intact geological conditions and minimal weathering
